is in addition aimed at promoting and preserving of the environment. The Miss Earth Uganda pageant saw thirteen beautiful ladies; who will be representing their home districts under the theme; “Empowering young Ugandan ladies with knowledge and platform to create a sustainable difference which helps in the protection and preservation of the environment”.

The thirteen ladies will be subjected to a two week’s boot camp training session on environmental issues, public speech, personal and stage presentation and will get them involved with planting activities ahead of the crowning which be held on the 25th of August 2017, at Nanjing restaurant and motel in Kololo in Kampala.

The event will also see Hon. Mary Morretti Kitutu state minister for water and environment as main guest of honor. According to the judges like Eric Ntalo who spoke to journalists, they will dedicate their year to promoting specific projects and often addressing on issues concerning the environment and other global issues.
